Older hotel in good location, clean and adiquite. The two dobermens in the room next door gave one a concerned feeling. They were noisy at first but settled down after a while. We got what we should expect for the $ spent. Would most lkely look for a higher end place next time in area. did not stay for breakfast as it looked questionable. We did not tell the staff, did not makea fuss over what we should have expected. The info said that dogs were welcome and price was low
We stayed at this hotel to attend a conference, so we were gone all day long and only slept there. Our room was actually quite large, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is older, it's not fancy but we felt for the price it was a good value and we would stay there again. They also offer the choice to not have your sheets changed every day to help save the environment, we appreciated that.
The only thing that we didn't like was the light directly in front of the door to our room. The bugs it attracted ended up inside as we went in and out at night.
The front desk folks were charming and concerned. They were able to change my room the next day to another room. Breakfast was simple and plain, and there were some healthy options (oatmeal, albeit instant). Free Wifi with strong signals.
Walkways need repair, and routes between buildings could be more extensive. Room 71's mildewy smell, a/c unit's curtains got in the way, and dinginess was depressing. The commute to the Corning Museum of Glass is a 10-minute ride and $11 taxi fare, and the shuttle from the Elmira Airport cost $33. Had I known the room was in such disrepair, and I was so far away from the main reason for my visit, I would have chosen lodging in Corning. Room 61, the second room, was much better, with a vent directing the a/c flow, and felt cleaner.
The rooms are large and the staff was very helpfull.
Location, good staff
pooor bathroom maintenance
Staff was pleasant and very helpfull. Easy to find if your coming from cmog. It took us no more than ten minutes from the museum and it was right off the highway.
Very nice, clean, and large rooms for the price. A good and simple complementary breakfast was a huge plus.
Good location, good price, clean, friendly and helpful staff
The staff should have been more knowledgeable about giving driving directions!
The room was quite large with large windows overlooking the back lawn and pool. Bed was comfortable. Two chairs were comfortable. Loved the microwave and fridge which was in our room. Lighting was dim. We would return. We normally stay at the Radison in Corning but wanted to try a change and were pleasantly surprised. Found a great place for breakfast called "Jelly Beans The Restaurant" which was wonderful.
We really liked the design and layout of the motel, and the spaciousness of the room. The limited contact we had with the staff was great made us think they were very nice. A problem with the shower on the first morning of our weekend was annoying, but was promptly resolved when reported.
Shower didn't work on the first morning. Outside lights were not on in this one section of the motel when we first arrived after dark.
The area was handy to the roads yet very quiet. The staff answered all questions and provided requested info.
The breakfast could not accommodate a gluten free option. A serving of fruit would have been nice. The facility looks a little tired.
The sheets were damp. The attut gave us theet bendant gave us more she wrong size. We needed King and he gave us twin. At 1am I was not going back to exchange them. We made do.
the price was great ,
we had to locate a place to plug in the coffee pot and the bathroom had a spider web and the pillow needed washing.
The bed was very large and comfortable and the room was of a high standard given the type of hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly. I would certainly stay there again.
The only disappointment was the breakfast which consisted of a very sweet muffin.
The rooms were nice and large and the bed was very comfortable and the room clean
We thought it was absolutley aweful the condition of the pool 1 hour in every spring to clean the liner The liner was black above the water and all that takes is a bit of scubbing in the spring we own a pool so we know They should be ashamed of themselves to have it like it is
